The Spectacle Newspaper
The Spectacle Newspaper is a condensed version of The Spectacle Book. Containing the works of The World of Wrestling by Roland Barthes, The Society Of The Spectacle by Guy Debord, and The Revolution of Everyday Life, Chapter 7: The Age of Happiness, these works were chosen based on their relation to what it means to be a “spectacle”. The images incorporated were inspired by this theme of performance and extravagance, taken from Guy Debord and Anger Jorn’s Fin De Copenhague and Memories.
The Newspaper is a more expressive version of the book to show range in design and adapting a project to new forms.
