The Spectacle
The Spectacle is a book containing the works of The World of Wrestling by Roland Barthes, The Society Of The Spectacle by Guy Debord, and The Revolution of Everyday Life, Chapter 7: The Age of Happiness. These works were chosen based on their relation to what it means to be a “spectacle”. The images incorporated were inspired by this theme of performance and extravagance, taken from Guy Debord and Anger Jorn’s Fin De Copenhague and Memories.
