Post Modernism Poster

Deconstruction is used to reveal a hidden meaning. With this poster, I chose to reveal the impact of consumerism and industrialization on art throughout the period of Avant-Garde in Italy circa 1960-1980.

While my poster represents deconstruction in meaning, the contents are deconstruction as well. All imagery alluding to money (in this case, the Euro) are fragments of the Euro itself. I chose to place these images in the background to show what the artists of the time were trying to represent in their own works, their reason behind their work. The artworks are in color and vibrant, as they are the focus of the poster.
